1. I understand that attendance at BKC functions is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guests or my dog because some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care. I hereby waive and release BKC, its contractors, officers, members and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which my dog(s) or I may suffer, including specifically, but without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any BKC activity/event or while on the training grounds or the area surrounding it. In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my membership renewal in BKC, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless BKC, its contractors, officers, members and agents from any and all claims by any member of my family or any other person accompanying me to any BKC activity/event, or while on the training grounds or the area surrounding it as a result of any action by any dog(s) including my own.

Booth Agreement Rules and Regulations

ARRANGEMENT OF EXHIBITS. Exhibitors must agree to arrange their booths so as not to obstruct the general view or hide exhibits of others. NO EX-PENS. No crates will be allowed in any aisle or outside of your booth space. Please bring only the number of dogs that can safely fit within your booth space. Exercise areas will be provided at the side of the building.

INSTALLATION OF EXHIBITS. Arrangement of exhibits and removal of all boxes and crates must be completed by 9:00 A.M. on the day of the Dog Fair. Exhibitors may not remove exhibits until after the close of the Dog Fair at 4:00 P.M. Anyone pulling out early will not be invited to participate again in future years. ELECTRICITY must be paid for.

CARE OF THE BUILDING. Acceptance of exhibit space makes it obligatory on the part of the exhibitor and his/her employees that he/she or they shall not deface, injure, or mar the Alliant Energy Center – Exposition Hall, and any damage done shall be made good by them to the Badger Kennel Club. Please clean up after your dogs! An exercise area will be provided.

INSURANCE. Exhibitors wishing to insure their goods must do so at their own expense. The Badger Kennel Club assumes no responsibility for the safety of the property of the exhibitor, its officers, agents, or employees, from theft, damage by fire, accident, or other causes, but will assume all reasonable care to protect them against such loss.

RESTRICTIONS. The Dog Fair Committee reserves the right to restrict exhibits which, because of noise, or for any other reasons, become objectionable, and also to prohibit an exhibit, which, in their judgment, may detract from the general character of the show. This reservation includes persons, things, conduct, printed matter, or anything of a character, which might be objectionable to the exhibit as a whole. Information that criticizes breeders of pure-bred dogs or promotes animal rights/anti-breeding organizations such as HSUS or PETA may not be displayed or distributed.

LIABILITY. The Badger Kennel Club and the Alliant Energy Center shall not be liable for the non-delivery of space if non-delivery is due to one of the following causes: by reason of the building being destroyed by fire, act of God, public enemy strikes, the authority of the Law, or any cause beyond their control.

BADGER KENNEL CLUB will not allow live animals to be advertised, adopted or sold at the WI Dog Fair by any organization or individual and will ask any person doing so to leave. Anyone promoting a particular breed of dog may display a live dog or dogs representing their breed, with the sole purpose being to educate the public as to the characteristics of the breed. Rescues may bring adoptable dogs to meet and greet potential homes but may not adopt them out at the Dog Fair. Adoptable dogs must be of a temperament suitable to this type of event. The Dog Fair Committee reserves the right to make the final approval of any exhibitor wishing to display a live animal. Dogs that are aggressive or out of control will be asked to leave. CANCELLATIONS must be received by October 25th, 2026 for a full refund. You may NOT ‘sell’ or give away your space to anyone else. Canceled space will be offered to the first party on the waiting list.

These rules are enforced by the Dog Fair Committee of the Badger Kennel Club. They have been formulated for the best interest of the as well as the Alliant Energy Center. Exhibitors are expected to cooperate in the observance of these rules. Please keep a copy for your records.

Submission of this form constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions set forth herein.
